Please collate the following documentation before starting your application
Scholarship applications requirements:
- Evidence of age, identity and New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status
- A CV (a short written summary showing qualifications, interests, service, sporting or extra curricular achievements)
- A character reference
- Copies of your 2 most recent school reports
- Copies of your Year 10 PAT / e-asTTle results or copies of Year 11/12 NZQA record, whichever is applicable (Please use this form to complete)
- Provide evidence of participation in either co-curricular activities, a service or leadership role, sporting excellence or cultural pursuits
- A simple passport style headshot to be provided as a jpeg or png file
- If shortlisted attend an interview with the Principal
Senior Scholarships Year 11 to 13
Academic Scholarship
An Academic Scholarship is awarded to students who displays outstanding academic aptitude and ability. This scholarship is provided to allow the opportunity for talented academics to engage with ako in an environment that encourages and supports their passions and aspirations. Students must have the ability to contribute to the wider College life through their involvement and commitment to academia, service and leadership.
Eligibility criteria:
- Demonstrated academic excellence
- An exemplary work ethic
- Evidence of learning adventurously, engaging in a dynamic community, living sustainably, and collaborating in purposeful partnerships
- Ability to make a positive and significant contribution to the life of the school
- Ability to lead, mentor and support peers and the broader QMC community
- Active participation and achievement in co-curricular programs such as Sport or the Arts
STEM Scholarship
The STEM Scholarship is for scholars who excel in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. We encourage and support young women who are interested in pursuing careers in STEM fields. By providing this opportunity, we hope to promote gender equality and diversity in STEM industries and to help our students achieve their academic and career goals.

Adventure Scholarship
We offer an all-round scholarship to support and recognise students who excel in a variety of areas, including academic, sport, leadership, and community involvement. This scholarship helps to promote holistic development and celebrates the diverse talents and achievements of our students.

Tangata Whenua Scholarship
This Tangata Whenua Scholarship (for Māori as the indigenous people of Aotearoa) aims to promote access for Māori girls to a world-class education in a culturally inclusive college, allowing them to develop skills and confidence to take full advantage of the opportunities around them.

- Ability to make a positive and significant contribution to the life of the college

Tangata o le Moana Scholarship
Tangata o le Moana Scholarship (the usual Māori term for Pacific peoples) aims to promote access for Pacific girls to a world-class education in a culturally inclusive college, allowing them to develop skills and confidence to take full advantage of the opportunities around them.
