Student Well Being
The College’s pastoral care programme promotes engagement between teachers and students. Each student is placed in a form class where, on a daily basis, she meets with the same student group and Form Teacher for the year.
Each Year level has a Dean who is responsible for the well-being of the cohort and also organises a range of social events, many of which include parents. The Head of the Middle School has overall responsibility for the curriculum and pastoral care of Year 7 - 10 students.
Students have access to an onsite full-time school nurse, along with a Chaplain and Future Pathways and Careers Coordinator.
Various mentoring programmes are in place at all levels, as well as buddy systems for new students.
Giving students the opportunity to step up and lead during their time at school helps young women grow into Future Leaders. The College seeks to give every girl a chance to be a leader in order to help her discover her weaknesses and strengths in a safe environment.
