$6000 for Make-A-Wish

On Friday 17 May, Queen Margaret College and stars from The Phantom of the Opera, collaborated to raise money for Make-A-Wish. Together they hosted a Phantom Preview night, which saw Music of the Night performed beautifully on the school stage by Chris Crowe who will star as the Phantom in the up-coming June Wellington shows.

Other pieces from the show were performed by Barbara Graham, who plays Christine and James Adams, who plays Raoul. James Adams also sung the duet A little fall of Rain from Les Miserables with Year 12 student, Ella Monnery.

The night provided the opportunity for QMC Choirs to show-case there talents just before they head off for regional competitions this year.

At the Phantom Preview people enjoyed tasty food, sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric, quality wine sponsored by CJ Pask Wine and excellent sound with donated head mics for the soloists from Spy Glass.

The evening raised $6000 for Make-A-Wish, a charity which grants wishes for terminally ill children. Thank you to the Queen Margaret College Community who attended and helped on the night.
