Inviting students, Old Girls, Parents and Staff to the Top House Competition.

Time: 2pm - 4pm

Attire: House Colours!
Join current students and Old Girls in an afternoon of fun House activities as we celebrate the opening of the Hobson Complex. Everyone who comes will have the opportunity to win valuable House Points by participating in activities run in each of our new Language Rooms.
You will have a chance to cheer on girls participating in House Games in the gym and check out the new facilities.
During the afternoon there will be food and drink on sale, including the traditional Parents' Association Sausage Sizzle and the Old Girls' Association with their Pop-Up Tea Room where you can enjoy some home-style baking.
The day will conclude with the Year 13 QUOTs Netball Match, a chance for Queen Margaret College to win the QUOTs Shield back from Scots College!
Details for the afternoon:
Language Activities 2pm - 4pm
French, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish: Four classrooms set-up to showcase each language taught at the College. Each room will have at least one activity relating to that language, including quizzes, origami making, chop stick races and moreFor each activity that a family member participates in, they gain a House point, so the more family members who come on the day the greater potential that House will have to win
House Games 2pm - 3.30pm
All Pre-School, Preps and Year 1 girls will be invited to open the games by participating in an obstacle course to gain a House Point. Students not in their House team are a vital part of the cheering on the day. House Games Schedule:
Note: the only shoes allowed on the gym floor are sneakers; if your daughter is involved with any House Games she will be required to wear her sneakers.
The purpose of this day is a fun afternoon for the Queen Margaret College Community and their families.
